How to Access the Green Roof

Kingsland Wildflowers is located at 520 Kingsland Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11222. The entrance is located at the large steel gate at the dead end of the street (look for the building with railings around the roof).

Once through the gate walk to the door under the red staircase attached to the building

Take the elevator or staircase to 4th floor to check in with NCA staff before going out to see both levels of public rooftops.

Accessibility: To access the community space and the lower meadow (both located on the 4th floor) there are 3.5 flights of stairs or an elevator in the lobby. The elevator can also reach the top floor where the upper meadow is located (5th floor), however, there is a step up once the elevator opens in order to get to the upper meadow. Pathways across the green roofs are made of large slabs of stone that at times can be uneven.
